THREE THINGS TO HELP YOU WIN!
THREE THINGS TO HELP YOU WIN!
First quarter is often, unfortunately, a time of light spot loads. This is a good opportunity for you to examine the break structure in all dayparts.
Are you effectively capturing the minimum Nielsen requirement of five minutes in each quarter-hour? Remember, in diary world they must be consecutive while PPM allows them to be cumulative.
What are the strongest (and weakest) quarter-hours for you and your competitors? Where can you “steal” listening from…and where are you being victimized? You should look at this over several surveys for your station, your direct competitors, and your format group. You can analyze this information using Nielsen Audio’s software tools, or through an easy-to-use service such as our Ratings Booster Report.
Your Average Quarter Hour persons number is the most critical part of your ratings. It is a combination of cume and AWTE or TSL. Knowing how much AWTE you have can be an important way to track how each daypart and demo is performing. One way to do that is by using our Instant Answer Report.
Know where your listeners are. There are many tools that track listening by location. However, our Hot Zip Report will not only show you where your listeners are – it will show you how much they are listening. Oh, and it shows every other station in the metro, too.
As always, The Ratings Experts at Research Director, Inc. stand poised to help you win in the ratings. Please fill out the form below for more information.
And, have a safe and happy holiday season!
